You can register online now for our upcoming Indigenous Workshop, and concert by Cheryl Bear, on November 16th and 17th at First Baptist.
This is a safe place to come and listen and discuss issues around our First Nations and Indigenous peoples, including how to respond to all the info out there and how to respond as lovers of Jesus. You are welcome to attend both days or the Blanket Exercise on Friday night or concert Saturday!
Lunch is included for the Saturday workshops.
Email the church office to let us know when you’re coming or sign up at redclover.ca .

**This is an interactive exploration of the history of Canada since the first point of contact with Indigenous Peoples to the present. This powerful teaching tool creates a baseline for a common understanding of the history that many of us were never taught from which to learn and explore the topics that will be covered the next day. This exercise is appropriate for children grade 3 and up. Many students across BC have gone through this in school as a Kairos Blanket Exercise.
